Beth Ryza originally worked as an Illustrator in New York, but later found herself drawn to acrylic painting and sculpture. Her work emphasizes organic shapes of nature, energetic movement, and vibrant color.

She has exhibited her work in Chicago and Los Angeles. Ms. Ryza is a retired Art teacher for the Chicago Public Schools. She is currently involved in teaching art to senior citizens.
